Fashion lovers… take note and mark your diary on 8 March 2012. Women’s Day? You wonder. No, not only. After Cavalli and Versace, another Italian brand create, for the Swedish giant of low cost fashion , H&M, a capsule collection for the season spring / summer 2012. I’m talking about Marni.
Consuelo Castiglioni offers a man / woman collection in output, precisely, on 8 March in about 260 stores around the world, that embodies the original spirit of the brand (which always seeks the idea of a ‘contemporary elegance), focusing on his strong pieces such as sweaters, pleated skirts, dresses, shorts and scarves, all in all-over themes and strong colors.
<<I wanted to create a true wardrobe Marni for H & M revisiting all of our favorite pieces. As always, I love the prints and the juxtaposition of colors, and I mixed the tribals themes with the notation of the Bauhaus>> says Consuelo Castiglioni, Creative Director of Marni.
A success for Margareta van den Bosch, Creative advisor at H&M, that about the collection says: <<Marni has a touch of modernity in everything it does, mixing prints and accessories in a playful, yet chic way. It's great to see how Consuelo Castiglioni coordinates her designs, combining new combinations of print and color>> Face of the collection, the British actress Imogen Poots perfect testimonial on the commercial directed by Sofia Coppola in Marrakech:
After a disappointing collection of “Very Best of True for H&M“, in my opinion too forced in the colors and combinations, this is what is being proposed by the mark for the new season. A collection of classic and modern at the same time, which reinterprets the 70′s mood in which warm colors, geometric patterns and tribal prints are mixed perfectly, embellished with big accessories and flats shoes. “Marni’s woman” wearing a veritable bazaar of fabrics, prints and decorative motifs from the great details. The men’s collection, however, offers men’s wardrobe classics revisited in a more modern and informal way, characterized by bright colors and navy themes. The personal touch of fashion Marni’s brand is visible on covers and on small details.
See you on March 8, 2012 in the major H&M stores.
