It was helded last night in Los Angeles the 84th edition of Academy Awards. As announced, it was the night of The Artist, the silent movie by Michel Hazanavicius, awarded for best movie, best direction, best costume and best soundtrack. Were also awarded Midnight in Paris by Woody Allen for best screenplay and Hugo Cabret by Martin Scorsese for best photography, best sound and sound editor and best scenography, thanks to the excellent job of Dante Ferretti and Francesca Lo Schiavo that took the name of Italy to another level. Oscar to best actor and actress goes to Jean Dujardin for The Artist and Meryl Streep for The Iron Lady.
But, overall the technical judgement and the winners, what arouses my
interest are the outfits seen on red carpet that, I have to say, has
pleasantly surprised me. Obviously, some there were outfits that I liked
less than others (drops of style are always around the corner), but
overall was the elegance to dominate.
These are, in my opinion, the best outfits…
