Summer is here, hotter than ever. In these days some lucky of you stay while enjoying the sun, letting themselves be pampered by the soft touch of the sea waves, while someone else like me (not for long. I'll leave for vacation in a couple of days!) is still in the city, maybe wandering around the shops taking advantage of summer sales. But, you know, summer can't last forever, so it's necessary to know what we'll wear next fall/winter season for not be unprepared.
Among the trends proposed for F/W 2012-13, there's one that wants us snappy and attention: I'm talking about soldier style. Brands like Missoni, Alexander McQueen, Salvatore Ferragamo and Moschino cheap and chic, see us as modern soldiers.

Go, then, with oversize coats, jumpsuits, boots and hats in the classic colors like green, black, grey and blue. A true evrgreen, that designers propose almost every year, but perfect for women who are confident of their femininity.

My fashion tip? If you don't like a soldier total look, match it with basic clothes like a pair of jeans and a soft 70's blouse, as Olivia Palermo did or, if you are more classy, you can copy this look worn by Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, beautiful in her Alexander McQueen coat:
If, from past season, you have some pieces like the trench coat by Gaia Rossi or other ones inspired by Louis Vuitton and Versace collections f/w 2011-12, get them out of your closet!
