Hi ladies! Today I've decided to open my closet's doors to a special friend of mine. In occasion of the release of her third ebook "99+1 errori che rovinano il tuo make up", the beauty blogger Maria Carmela Trovato of il mio makeup will talk about the latest make up trends. Because, you know what they say, being fashionable doesn't mean only dress up well or match the right accessories. We also follow fashion with eyeshadows and lipsticks! The advent of e-commers have been for the fashion world, in particular for designers and customers, a real blessing. Among these sites one that you can not absolutely miss is, for sure, Youngrepublic. Honestly, I have to say I had never heard of it before so, when I've been contacted by one of the founder of youngrepublic, I was impressed in discover the huge potential that this site can offer. Founded by the duo Marianne Sea and Andrew Yang, Sydney - based, youngrepublic.com is a marketplace dedicated to fashion but not only.

The site is well structured and so easy to navigate: it presents a plethora of unique and eclectic womeswear, menswear  and kidswear with a large section dedicated to accessories, underwear, jewerly and home+life. Every section has some subcategories that facilitates the navigation, making more easy the search of the products. In the shop section, for example, you can start the search of products by new arrivals,  by designers, by categories and by collections.

With a function similar to Etsy, Asos and Urban Outfitters youngrepblic is a space in which talented indipendent designers and emerging artists can promot their creations, selling them direct to their customers through online transitions without joining, listing or upfront fees. The site offers them, therefore, free interactions with customers, managment of the comunity and other marketing tools to help them to grow their brands. 

Born with the  goal to bring indie fashion to masses, it has been launched online recently but it already counts more than 500 australian designers and other international 100 (who came from all around the world), who wants to make a mark in the fashion world. Among them we can quote VaVa, Chiyo, Paolo Coppolella and Pritee Penee.

As well as a great and efficient e-shop, it also is a precious tool to foretell next trends. Another point in favore to this site that I particullarly like is the chance to contact the designers in direct line. Therefore, considering the fact that there's not any exclusive selection process, the designers can apply to sell themselves rather than waiting to be picked up by an agency or an eagle - eyed buyer.

Fashion lovers have now the chance to shopping on the street of Sydney, Tokyo, Paris, New York and London, without leaving their home, buying unique pieces that they couldn't find in the local stores.

Among great designers that you can find, some of my favourites are: Kendelle, Lauren Luna and La Lilouche.

Svelati i segreti dei make up artist - IL VISO review

Some times ago I received a collaboration request by the blogger Maria Carmela Trovato of ilmiomakeup.it, that took the form of a post about the colored hair trend (of which I talked about here). I like collaborations with other bloggers, I like to interact with them and valorise their work, giving them space on my blog. Well, to thank me for my collaboration she made me a nice gift: the preview of her first free ebook "Svelati i segreti dei make up artist - IL VISO" ("Revealed the secrets of make up artists -  THE FACE"), available on her web site. 

I promised to her that I would write a review about it but, before did it, I carefully followed her advices, trying them on my self, using brushes, powder and foundation. Now, I'm ready! The book is the first of a series (I have been assured that there will be other ones), is well structured , perfect for who, like me, is not exactly a make up artist and essays with make up with some prudery, it's fluent and explains well the moves and the tricks to exalt your face in the best way.

From primer to councelor, from foundation to illuminant, the book has  section dedicated to every product with a list of advices, really helpful for a perfect make up base!

A thing that that I discovered thanks to the book, is that the  illuminant should be spread on the chin (who knows that?), and other great tricks to reuse products that I don't use or I don't particularly like. 

I've never been a huge fan of make up. I always used just mascara and, sometimes, a bit of blush, but reading this book I learn how to use make up and exalt my face. I suggest you to download it, in my opinion is a great source for those who want to learn more about make up, it's easy and fluent and plus, it's free! And don't forget to visit the blog, you'll find some great advices to realize the best make up for you.

Trends 2012: full colored hair

Perhaps you may see on catwalk stars who show off meches or completely colored hair. The most exatravagants and eccentric, like Lady Gaga or Rihanna, show off from bright red to the most eccentric bright yellow, pink, fuchsia and turquoise.

The celebrities exaggerate but, as always, trhow down when it comes to trends: it's not difficult, in fact, to see on the streets inusual hair colors, that sometimes remind the nuances of the rainbow.

Forse ti sarà capitato di vedere qualche star in passerella sfoggiare meches o addirittura intere chiome completamente colorate. Le più stravaganti, come Lady Gaga o Rihanna, sfoggiano dal rosso fiammante ai più eccentrici giallo sgargiante, rosa, fucsia e turchese.

Le celebrità lanciano e dettano le mode: non è difficile, infatti, incontrare per strada colorazioni inusuali, che ricordano a volte le sfumature dell'arcobaleno.

What's the best way to wear this type of colors?

Color you hair purple, light blue or turquoise it's not certainly like a simple brown or blonde hair dye done by the hairdresser. You have to be brave, ready and determinate to see change your face under the effect of a new light. Don't even forget the combinations factor: also the color of the clothes or make up should be revisited to adapt, in the best way possibile, to your new choice.

Colorare i capelli di viola, azzurro o turchese non è di certo come fare una semplice tintura castana o bionda dal parrucchiere. Devi essere pronta e decisa a vedere il tuo viso cambiare sotto l'effetto di una nuova luce. Non tralasciare neanche il fattore abbinamenti: anche i colori degli abiti o del make up dovranno essere rivisitati per adattarsi, nel miglior modo possibile, alla tua nuova scelta.

If your hair dye is partial

The less drastic and surely more casual choice, without having the commitment of a full colored hair, is decide to dye just a portion of your hair, leaving the rest in your natural color. There are different ways to face this decision. The most classic is to create small sections of color as if you did simple maches or highlights. You can also decide to dye them of the same color or change nuance section after section. Another way, the more alternative one, but surely more fashionable, is to dye just your tips: in this case the color is drawn starting from the last 2 or 3 centimeter of your hair, according to its length. But there's also who, instead of the tips, prefers to give pink reflection to the roots: it's the case of Katy Perry who shows off pink and orange nuances on her super blonde hair.

La scelta meno drastica e sicuramente più sbarazzina, senza avere l'impegno di una chioma totalmente colorata , è quella di decidere di tingere solo una parte dei tuoi capelli, lasciando il resto della chioma del tuo colore di base naturale. Ci sono diversi modi per affrontare questa decisione. Il più classico  è quello che prevede di creare delle piccole ciocche di colore come se stessi facendo delle normalissime meches o dei colpi di sole. Puoi decidere anche di farle dello stesso colore oppure di cambiare tonalità da ciocca a ciocca. L'altro metodo, quello più alternativo ma sicuramente più alla moda, è quello di colorare solo le punte: in questo caso il colore è steso a partire dagli ultimi 2 o 3 centimentri dei tuoi capelli, in base anche alla loro lunghezza. Ma c'è anche chi, invece delle punte, dona riflessi rosati addirittura alle radici: è il caso di Katy Perry che sfoggia sfumature rosa e arancio sui suoi capelli biondissimi.

It's the most risky choice for sure, but that don't make you unnoticed. You can take cues from star's hair colors: who was super blonde chose a light pink (see the singer Pink), who instead, like Rihanna, had black hair, passed to  bright red.

E' certamente la scelta più azzardata, che però non ti farà passare inosservata. Puoi prendere spunto dai colori moda delle star: chi era biondo platino è passata ad un rosa chiaro (vedi la cantante Pink), o chi, invece, come Rihanna, è passata dal nero al rosso fiammante.

When it comes to vagaries, we can't not to mention her: Lady Gaga! Even if, recently, seems that the singer Nicki Minaj wants to steal her the scene showing off really thrilling multicolr hair.
