The binomial fashion/make up, you know, is tested from immemorial time, but it never has been more fashionable than that. The journalist as well as ex chief editor of Vogue France (from 2001 to 2011), future editor of her own magazine CR Fashion Book (which I talked about here) and true institution of fashion world, Carine Roitfeld, signed a limited edition collection for the famous make up brand of thousand collections: MAC.

September issue: Carine Roitfeld launches CR Fashion Book

Model, journalist, editor, writer and real institution on fashion world: Carine Roitfeld is all of this and even more. After ten years of direction of Vogue France (from 2001 to 2011), she leaves the magazine to devote to personal projects. She collaborates on Chanel's fall/winter and spring/summer campaigns, launches her first book Irriverent and, in collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld, partecipates to realization of "The little black jacket: Chanel's classic revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld", the photo book presented the last march in Tokyo (about which I've talked here).

The little black jacket by Chanel

They were the mythical 50’s when Madame Coco created one of must famous garment of Chanel  brand: I’m talking about the Petite veste noir, the mythical jacket, the model takes its name from its creator, that became immediately a true cult on female wardrobe.

Today as then, the Chanel jacket is still a must not only for all fashionistas. A garment that through the ages, able to influence designers and ordinary mortals over time.  Versatile and extremely feminine, is able to make your outfit irresistibly elegant; at same way it matches impeccably even with a more basic outfit. In my opinion, it’s a must have that everyone should keep in their closet.
