Ash-blond hair (sometimes dyed in a sophisticate choccolate brown, for script requirements), green eyes and all the exuberance of a teenager united with an air of a consumed diva. She's Chloe Grace Moretz, fashion icon of this month. Enfant prodige and rising star of new Hollywood movie scene, she became an icon of new horror genre, despite her young age. Only 17 years old, she can boast a resume in no way inferior to that of many other colleagues that counts collaborations with sacred monster of cinema such Martin Scorsese or Tim Burton.

The style icon I chose for this month is the beautiful hispanic-french actress Astrid Bergés-Frisbey, the charming mermaid of the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie, one of the youngest and most promising star of Cinema, included by Vogue Magazine (a fairly authoritative voice in this field) in the list of Ten Rising Style Stars. Excuse me if it's not that much!

London Fashion Week F/W 2014-15 pills

Is ended last february 18 the London Fashion Week F/W 2014-15 with which starts the cycle of european fashion weeks. I have to admit that there were a few of very interesting proposals, nothing that we haven't already seen. Many collection presented were too commercial, in my opinion. Anyway, these are the collections that I liked the most.

BURBERRY PRORSUM

Inspired by british painter Vanessa Bell's floral style, the collection is the celebration of a style sometimes eccentric but still traditional. As on pantings, prints dominate on clothes and accessories on a pallette of colors that go from pink to slate, from yellow to amethyst. A romantic collection, ladylike with a urban chic taste.

Is ended last february 13th the New York Fashion Week F/W 2014-15 (here my review), one of the biggest event in fashion industry that showed off the coolest female anticipations of the next fall/winter season. Here the best of street style outfit seen during these seven days...

Looking forward for the upcoming New York Fashion Week S/S 2014, Mercedes-benz calls to call emerging talents from every part of the world, involving them in the realization in a series of movies, visible online on the website Mercedes-benz.com/fashion. The project is named "Fashion Creatives" and shows off through some short movies a typical day of a fashion insider, telling his highlights. Protaginist of the first clip, entrusted to the direction of emerging british director Danny Sagra, Leandra Medine of Man Repeller.

Milan Fashion Week S/S 2014 pills

Is just ended the last edition of Milan Fashion Week S/S 2014, maybe the most important event in the italian fashion scene. With my big surprise, I have to admit that, despite my expectations, I really enjoyed this fashion week. I liked every collection, which one special on its own. A very intense and hectic week, that made me discover once again the passion I've always had for fashion (and that I had almost forgotten) and reminded me how much is important to hold on and work hard to make your purpose come true.

As I said, a true escalation of different styles, different worlds that bring up the flag of the italian style, making it unique and inimitable. And now a short review of the collection I loved the most.

Madrid Fashion Week S/S 2014 pills

Is ended last september 17th the Merceds - Benz Madrid Fashion Week S/S 2014 (hel at the same time of the most well-known London Fashion Week), that summoned some of the most talented designers of international fashion scene. 

Five days of "discreet" fashion (I don't know if it's the most right term to use), perhaps because it's less sponsored, during, however, didn't miss peaks of creative estrus. Here a short review of the collection I preferred the most.

London Fashion Week S/S 2014 pills

Is just ended the last Merceds Benz London Fashion Week S/S 2014, held from september 13th to 17th. As happened for New York, despite the beautiful collections presented, there have been few news, nothing really shocking... what a pity, right?

But we can't surely pretend the moon, can we? So, for the moment be satisfied waiting towards what expects us in Milan. In the meanwhile here a short review of my favourite collections.

One of the coolest and most original trend proposed for S/S 2013 is, in fact, the postcard style. Fashion icon of the month: Leandra Medine

A famous italian idiom says that "women dress themselves for women and get undressed for men". Well, this could perfectly be the guiding principle of Leandra Medine, the new protagonist of the section Fashion icon of the month.

By her own admission, she defines herself as a man repeller, a woman who wearing her clothes looks repellent to a man. This is the concept from which Leandra, young newyorker student of journalism, starts when, in 2010, she decides to create her own fashion blog, Manrepeller.com, in which she vents her hilarious reflections about how often fashion confuses, surpises and, sometimes, maybe pushes away men from women. Wearing garments like harem pants, boyfriend jeans and flash jewelry she shows off how they might rise to the role of "chic contraceptives"! The philosphy behind manrepeller.com is to dressing to please yourself because, you know what they say, a true fashonista would never, ever, change the way she dresses just to entice the less sartorially evolved desire of a man...

Emilio Pucci for Beyoncé's new world tour

Is started last april 15th from Belgrade the new Beyoncé's word tour "The Mrs. Carter Show". An amazing show during which the singer bewitched the audience with her magnetic and energetic performances. From the songs to the coreographies, everything was brilliant. And also were the costumes, designed for her by Peter Dundas, creative director of the italian brand Emilio Pucci.
