Hi guys, in this post for Art & Expression column I want to talk you about a great illustrator I've recently discovered: she's Giada Raucci, an amazing italian artist. Her works are so incredibly glamorous and cool that I've immediately felt in love with them and it's a pleasure to present her to all of you through the little interview she did for Ladyfairy's closet.

It was 1926 when, in a day of June, from the sky felt Norma Jeane Mortenson, one of the brightest star the world has ever knew, rare gem of Hollywood's golden age, icon of an era, loved, imitated and idolized by entire generations: the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe. Beautiful and fascinating, elegant in her sensuality, so lively but yet fragile, she enchanted the whole world with her talent, giving to it some of the most iconic movies of cinema history, from Niagara to Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, passing by The Seven Year Itch and Some Like It Hot. Her curves and her vulnerability, combined with the innocence of her angelic face, have helped to deliver the myth of Marilyn Monroe to eternity. Her style were so coded that it needs just a few elements to characterize it and make it immediately "hers": red lipstick, black eyeliner, porcelain skin and especially the unmistakeble platinum blonde bob. 52 years after her tragic and mysterious death, her legend is more alive than ever.

I love shopping around the world: Istanbul

This month for the section I love shopping around the world, I'll talk to you about one of the most beautiful cities in the world and to which I am tied in a very special way. I've been there just after my graduation, four years ago and it really was a special experience. I'm talking about Istanbul, heart of Turkey: fascinating, full of mysteries and so beautiful to take your breath away. Located halfway between Europe and Asia, is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the entire world and true paradise for all the shopping lovers: from carpets to amazing jewerly, from boutique designers to shopping malls, the range and the prices will turn your head!
