Fashion trends 2012: Fluo style

Spring is almost definitely arrived and everything wears new colors. Away dark color, that accompained us during this winter, and go with more lively ones and more cheerful tones. 

If you have loved the trend of color blocking last year, if your key word is dare, the collections presented for this spring/summer season are what you're looking for. I'm talking about fluo style.  Bright, lively, iridescent and irriverent tones. A true color explosion, therefore, in 80's style: pop, acid and electric colors that dominate on clothes and accessories, jewels, make up and design objects.

 

Fabrics are different and innovative: these range from elegant chiffon to soft silk, to hi-tech neoprene to textured leather. The pallet of colors ranges from acid yellow to fuchsia, from green to orange, for a true injection of energy and dynamism. Among brands that proposed this amazing trend we have: Blumarine, Jo No Fui, Dolce e Gabbana, Versace and Blugirl.

I like this style, it's perfect for summer, 'cause it's so energic and fizzy! I felt in love with it and I've immediately update my wardrobe. Anyway, I think this this  is a perfect combo...

Fluo style - Ladyfairy's polyvore

But if you're not brave enough to wear a total fluo outfit, you can wear a basic one (as a little black dress) with some fluo pieces, that can be bottom, shoes, or jewels... just like this.

This is the fluo outfit that I prefere. It's not totally fluo, it's classy but not too much, sexy (thanks to lace top) and you can wear it both day and night.

Energic, fizzy and at times quirky, fluo style seem to have captured everyone, from celebs to blogger is fluo mania! It's an example of that is the eccentric rapper Nicki Minaj, testimonial with Ricky Martin of two make up collections signed by M.A.C. (Viva Glam and Pink 4 Friday), inspired by fluo style.
