They always say, in particular when it comes to fashion, that "everything fades". But there are garments, styles or, as in this case, colors that enjoy of a timeless charm and portability, true evergreen. One of them is, for sure, black. Inevitable color of our wardrobe, in its every shades or declination, is (to merit and not surprisingly, I'd say) one of trend proposed for F/W 2012-13 and true must have of season.
Even if, in the past seasons, left that the spotlight shine on other colors, the timeless charm of black has ever been subject of interest from designers that, punctually, propose it in their collections. An example of that, may be the F/W 2009-10 collections by Moschino, Givenchy and Valentino.

Well, 2013 will, for sure, the year of black, daily passpartout, ready to show off at all hours. A proof of that are the F/W collections presented by brands like Versace, Dior, Salvatore Ferragamo, DKNY and Valentino that have made black, the sovereign color of winter season. So, go with total balck looks: from skirts to coats, from pantsuits to cocktail dresses, to accessories. Everything is permitted as long as it's black.

I love black: is has an imperishable beauty and it's good for all. Ideal for winter, it's perfect for the most fair skin and it gives a glamour touch and an extreme elegance to the most basic or urban outfits. Do you think that a total black look can be banal? Well, don't worry! Borrowing the words of a genius of fashion scene, Yves Saint Laurent, I say that "there's not only a type of black". In fact, there are so many shades perfectly mixable each other, for a result of great effect!
My fashion tip? If you think that a total look is too heavy or binding and you're afraid of the Mortcia Addams's caricature effect, you can cushion the look playing with colored accessories: black is one of that few colors that goes practically with everything, the secret is to combine it with different shades, creating combos and contrasts, using colors like green, fuchsia, yellow and orange, that cushion its rigour giving to it a bit of liveliness, or other ones like bordeaux and blue, for a more glamour effect. If you, like me, love black, here some looks to wear.
