In the sensational frame of the eternal city took place, from january 24 to 28, Alta Roma Alta Moda 2014, the date with the haute couture signed made in Italy.
Big names form italian and internationa fashion scene came to present their creations. The best of tradition and innovation in this four days of fashion, style and elegance.
SARLI
Is an emotional path for dresses made by Maison Sarli for the s/s Couture 2014. A collection characterized by a contemporary taste, clean cuts and contrasts of color. Lightweight fabrics glide over the body shapes while transparences and embroidery accentuate the provocation. The result is a female image full of feminine charm but simple at the same time, comfortable and, sometimes, almost impalpable. Color is the strenght of the collection enriched by 3D embroidery, inserts and chiffon skirts. Everything is crisp and light, visually candid.
NINO LETTIERI
Shapes and statuesque volumes are the keystones of the collection signed by Nino Lettieri: a riot of organza, taffeta and plissé animated by ruffles, prints and sequins. The lines are inspired by 50's and 60'senriched by refined soutache embroidery, little sequins and oriental prints.
MIREILLE DAGHER
A big success for the albanian designer that for s/s 2014 shows off a collection inspired by see: like waves, the dresses touch the bodies of beautiful mermaid-ladies, charmer, ethereal and sensual, unattainable in their beauty and elegance. Precious fabrics like silk and lace take up the red thread of the collection giving to movements of body the elegance and the lightness of water flows. The theme of see is also present in the decorations of the embroidery: pearls, shells, fragments of anchors lost in the ocean, rinestones and rocks smoothed by water.
RAFFAELLA FRASCA
Is a bright and energic collection, full of sex appeal and with a little touch of rock, the one presented by Raffaella Frasca at Alta Roma 2014; a collection tought for a strong, volitional, sensual and determined woman. 50's shapes are enriched by jais mesh embroidery and asymmetries. The dresses made in tulle and chiffon are embilleshed with embroidery, feathers and "rose gold" stones. The pallet of color is consistent and decided: from white to grey, passing by powder pink in a chromatic essential harmony.
SAN ANDRES
This collection is a tribute to the style of the actress Maria Felix in a new retro interpretation, that reinvent the concept of androgynous, thought for a confident woman who doesn't give up to her femininity. Rigid and soft fabrics alternate each other perfectly in a pallette of color played on neutral tones that go from white to beige, from black to gold, from light blue to aquamarine. But the real gem of the collection are details: fur inserts, fedora hats and maxi sunglasses.
